Stories With Seneca

Being an activity counselor, I don't always get to partake in activities with my own campers. Today, though, I had the privilege of spending most of the day with my bunk, S-3. Our day began with breakfast at the waterfront; we had bullseyes cooked by the spectacular waterfront specialists. The girls then got to rotate through stations, including the famous banana boat. They all had a blast, and hurried up to lunch for some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. 

In the afternoon, we had athletics where we played ping pong, ga ga, impulse, and even did a quick ab workout, then moved to our sing period and sang a few classic camp songs like Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills and Nash. Directly following dinner (which was meatloaf) we moved into bunk night. We blindfolded our entire bunk, splattered some paint on them, (because no program is complete without paint) and led them up to gypsy camp through lots of laughter for some cold s'mores. They even got to have cake afterwards at the dining hall for an S-4 campers' birthday! The girls are currently washing off the paint and laughing. It's sure been a wonderful, busy day!
