In the afternoon, we had hobbies. These range from wake boarding, to dancing, to cooking, and everything in between. After 2 hours of that, we all headed up to the athletics/pool area for General Swim. This wasn't an ordinary General though-- mass program broke! It started with a car procession that herded everyone to the O-Rec, where we saw videos introducing each team. The theme of the program is "Almost Famous." Each captain is a wannabe movie star looking to get famous in John Golden's new movie. The teams are their "entourage," and must compete in various events to prove their worth.
Last night we all participated in "Storm the Beach." Each village had different involvement, for example Senecans swam in from the ski dock while Cayugans completed an obstacle course. At the end of the evening, grey was in the lead but of course, things will change today after all the different events that are planned. I'm so excited to see what ends up happening with this program, and we will definitely keep you on the know!
