Stories With Seneca

"Whoever said girls can't do handy work never saw you girls!" Sarah Kaufman said as she watched oldest Seneca hammer nails into wood to create new service benches.

We are hidden away in the woods behind the ropes course over looking the lake as the oldest girls hammer away to create new benches to use during services on Saturday morning in the new service location, which will hopefully be in use by the last July Shabbat.

It's amazing to see these girls work together to make two logs and a piece of wood into something that will eventually be invaluable to camp. Tikkun Olam is a great addition to camp and a really great way to get involved in more projects that will help to make camp even more beautiful.

I'm so proud of all the oldest girls and can't wait to see the finished product! I hope the real world is treating everyone well, and we can't wait to see you all out here for visiting day on Sunday!!
