Another week has passed us as we reflect on Onondaga/Cayuga Shabbat. The service was beautifully conducted by speeches of staff and the oldest bunks. The theme of the week was learning from experience. Whether it was a memory of working with the homeless or trying a new activity at the waterfront, these experiences impacted our campers. It is truly heartwarming to hear how camp affects others and the lessons that are learned. It's also great to listen to the outside activities our campers participate in during the other 10 months of the year. Overall, the joined village led perfect friday evening and saturday morning services that later concluded at havdallah. I couldn't be prouder!
