Today CSL had its first ACP, all camp program, of the summer and it kicked off the many more to come. The program was planned by the assistant unit heads of the five villages and centered around a dog show theme, with counselors as different dog breeds. All campers were divided into 36 teams, each with their own "dog" and "vet", who were counselors assigned to each group. Each team learned about their dog breed, decorated their dog with gel, paint, and paper and then paraded them through an obstacle course. At the end each group told their dogs' background stories which varied from poodles who only ate gluten free to Rottweilers who could dance the wobble. The judges chose the five best dogs and they then had to complete some challenges until the final three dogs could take home a prized trophy. The campers had tons of fun and by the end we had some very muddy dogs/counselors. Until next time!
