What a relaxing Shabbat! Here at CSL we like to give the sabbath a different feel than the other days of the week. There is a sleep-in as well as bagels and fruit in the villages that we the staff serve to the girls. After services in the morning overlooking the lake, we have discussion.  This discussion implements the theme of the week with activities for the campers. This week was how expectations and first impressions are affected by a persons image. We headed up to lunch and then enjoyed an extended rest hour. New this year, we have shortened Shabbat Choice to fit in FIGHT SONG PREP! After reading on the docks, drama games, A&C, or swimming or athletics, everyone goes to their village to practice fight song. Once the songs are stuck in the girls' heads, it's shower hour and off to dinner for tortellini! The sabbath concludes with a havdallah service once three stars are in the sky.

Hope you all had a reflective and relaxing shabbas!
