Mohawk: Village of Men

Sorry for the late submission! Here is what's new from M2 counselor Jonah Pessin.

Well far from a licensed rabbi, I will wed two of my fellow counselors tonight in holy matrimony. Mohawk and Seneca will celebrate the joining of hands between Sophie Wiener and Aaron Schaible. Decadent foods shipped in from the gold coasts of far off countries will line campers stomachs. This ceremony and the following festivities follow a day of much importance to our camp: Tikkun Olam day. Although I didn't attend first hand, I can report that great strides were made in creating a new fire circle for Saturday morning services located behind the ropes course progression. The combined efforts of oldest Mohawk, oldest Seneca, and Tuscarora throughout the day helped to complete a multitude of tasks including creating seating, plaques to commemorate, and a new trail among other things. Whilst this was going on the rest of Mohawk spent the morning at high ropes tackling the pamper pole and the vertical playpen. Hold on a second, the bride is walking down the aisle. Oh wow, what beautiful ceremony. I've been moved to tears. All is well in Mohawk.
