Hello to the greater Senecan family!
I am Mollie Freedman-Weiss and am so thankful to have opportunity to return to CSL for my second summer. I am enthusiastic about teaching young females confidence and kindness and feel at home amongst the powerful energy in Seneca. Today during staff orientation we got a taste of what the expectations were for bunk staff in each specialty. As a first time bunk counselor, after hearing each specialist talk about what we will be doing I am SO thrilled I will be experiencing this all with the campers. I was blown away by their talents, ideas, and leadership.
We are just now getting back from an afternoon at the watefront... The Senecan staff spent the first period on the party boat and the following period sailing. I must admit, I am not much of a sailor but my co-counselors and peers kept me safe (and dry!)
I am SO looking forward to the campers getting here in a few days, CSL is too quiet without them..most acutely I am anxious to start working on our fight song!!
