Programming: Painting a Picture

We are over half way through orientation, and much progress has been made at camp.  Already, all of the programs for the first week of camp have begun the planning process!  We could not be more excited for what the campers and staff will bring to the table in their execution.

Yesterday, the bunk counselors participated in an Activity Round Robin where they learned about the different program areas and what the Head Specialists, Specialists, and Activity Counselors expect from the bunks when they are at each of the speciality areas.  Some of the staff then led others in Peer Led Mini Groups, where topics were discussed such as "homesickness" and "icebreakers".

The highlight of the day was the caravan of cars to the Elmira Drive-In.  With all the cars lined up on Camp Road, it was certainly a sight to see and one of the greatest moments of orientation!

Today is another sunny day here at CSL and we continue to count down the days until camp finally begins!
