Hello all!
Can you believe we’re only a month away from camp?? I couldn’t be more excited myself, as I prepare for my 13th summer at CSL. Last summer I worked in the village of Tuscarora, where I was able to work with the senior camper boys and girls. It was remarkable to see the growth in confidence, leadership, and team building skills, both at the individual and group level. After camp I headed back to Bucknell University, where I completed my senior year of college and subsequently graduated just a few weeks ago.
I was a staff member in Onondaga for my first three years as a counselor, and it was such a joy to work with those girls each day. They’re full of energy, spirit, and curiosity, and after having worked outside the village for the past two summers, I am ecstatic to return there this summer as the Onondaga Unit Head! I cannot wait to bring energy and enthusiasm to our village, and to provide each Onondagan with an unforgettable summer. I am also looking forward to having a staff that will undoubtedly do wonderful things in our village, as well as for camp as a whole! Camp Seneca Lake was a huge part of my childhood, and continues to be a large part of my young adult years. Camp has created the person I am today, and I can’t wait to provide to my girls a memorable summer they’ll cherish for a lifetime!
