Good evening friends of Seneca!
What a busy and fantastic day we have had! The girls woke up to a fire drill which ultimately led them to a field, where different colored t-shirts spelled out SSL, also known as Seneca Soccer League. The girls were so excited to get another season underway!
After breakfast the girls had periods such as programming, where they learned about what goes into planning programs at camp as well as getting a history lesson of sorts about the evolution of Color War.
Next the girls had SSL, where they showed off their soccer skills. Audrey Cohen had some fantastic saves and helped her team (yellow lemons,) to win both games they played today.
The day continued with other normal periods and ended in Shabbat. The theme was new beginnings and the girls who spoke, spoke eloquently and remained poised throughout the service. After services the girls along with Mohawk, Tusc and the LITs headed up to the o-rec for a dance.
The girls have had a great few days and there are many more to follow so be sure to check for posts!
