Onanbloga!

Hi everyone!

My name is Sara Kashtan and I am an O-3 activities counselor at athletics. I will be one of the many staff we have to blog about all the wonderful activities and programs our Onandogans go through each day!

Today we all slept in until around 8.45 and we had a super delicious breakfast delivered right to us in our own village. All the girls had yummy bagels and cereal! After, we all headed down to services for about an hour. Immediately following the services we had our discussion groups. Oldest Onandogans were put together to discuss about something that makes them feel relaxed. A lot of the girls created beautiful pictures that they had drawn. Majority of the drawings showed the world and peace signs. It was a great, creative, and fun way to have a discussion group.

Right after, all of Onandoga went to the dining hall to have there lunch. Towards the end, Shabbat clap occurred and everyone was successful. It ended with all onandogans receiving Shabbat treat. After that all of the village had Shabbat choice which included some wonderful and fun activities. They could've chosen to go to arts and crafts, athletics, or swim in the pool. Since today was so hot, majority of onandogans went straight to the pool to cool off. All of these activities lasted for about an hour and a half giving them enough time to shower and get ready for dinner and the evening program.

Dinner went by and the evening program arrived! For O-3 we blind folded two girls at once and the rest of the group had to communicate and help them get to the destination they needed to arrive at. The two blind folded girls would give the group a hint and off they would go! This gave O-3 a chance to communicate with each other and see what it's like to build a team.

Once the evening program ended all of onandogans walked down to the fire circle for Chabbad.

Cheerful songs were sang. After the service ended, the night came to a close and bed time was presented. Today was a great day for everyone and tomorrow will even be better!
