Hello,
Last night everyone put on their best Shabbat attire an headed to a fabulous shabbat dinner. Dinner consisted of chicken, mashed potatoes, soap of course, and everyone's favorite strawberry salad.
It was a sticky Shabbat last night. Sweat poured off the brows of many staff and camper alike. Services were highlighted by the pieces of two session campers, who were given the option to talk about new beginnings. Mohawk had many representatives speak on its behalf.
The sweat got worse as the night went on. The first Friday night dance of the august session was a smash. People danced the night away to music chosen by the LITs. Kids were dancing laughing and having good clean fun.
This morning we had services again. It was a hot morning so everyone tried as hard as they could to squeeze into the shade. Services were followed by discussion groups and then lunch.
With Shabbat choice in the afternoon it was an around relaxing day. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon.
