Out in the wilderness of old Oneida, Tuscarora 2012 participate in the first ever survivor program! The Senior Campers have been split into two teams competing against each other to make a shelter, fire pit, come up with a cheer and a form of government. The campers have been given the basic necessary supplies and currency called "da blooms" with which they can purchase extra supplies from our store. Throughout the day, the campers have participated in challenges such as human checkers, a wooden puzzle, and other "get to know each other" activities.
We have seen a wide range of campers stepping up to contribute to their team in order to make their meals, succeed in challenges, and help organize their team; all the while demonstrating their enthusiasm for the program and the rest of the summer.
The entire experience has been documented with instagram and twitter, so be sure to follow us @csl_official to feel like a survivor yourself!
