The Senecan Scribe

As I lay in bed looking back on the day, I cannot help but smile. Color war is such an extraordinary event, allowing every camper to sign up for events to help their teams. The morning started out with mind and creativity events. These events ranges from candle making, to portrait painting, flag building, suit of armor building, and many more.

The afternoon consisted of athletic events such as speedball, decathlon, dodgeball, etc. The night ended in a final event of fire building. The teams raced to build a fire that would soon break the rope a few feet above it. Once the rope broke, the ruby team's first, it dropped a cinder block which raised that teams flag.

At the end of this extremely long day, the mass program concluded with team Sapphire on top. While not all of camp won, everyone seems to be excited for a sleep in!
