We needed a way to cool off the steamy day! Our hobby group of 22 walked to the waterfront to start the activity. Two teams were divided and the campers started for the shore. Their mission for round one of three was to pull as much seaweed from Seneca Lake as they could and stack it into a castle. Round two, the teams elected one person to be the seaweed monster. The campers covered a lucky peer in seaweed head to water-shoe. This monster in exfoliating seaweed ran and destroyed the opponent's castle for round three. After we walked to the boathouse and strapped on lifejackets and took a swim between the docks. Once the dining hall bell rang we were sprinting for pizza bagels, famished from the periods activities.
