From A to C

Hi everyone,

It has been an amazing first week of camp, and nearly all of the campers have had at least one trip to the art/craft barn/shack.

The CSL City project is well on its way, with buildings and attractions being assembled into a vibrant landscape.  The inventive architectural additions from the campers include hospitals, swimming pools, baseball stadiums, schools and even Seneca Lake, all constructed from recycled egg boxes, yoghurt pots and cardboard.  Although not fully competed it already looks fantastic, and is a great example of camp spirit, bringing the skills of different age groups together to work as a team.

Also this week was the first Shabbat Choice at A&C, where the kids can enjoy a less structured session with more options.  We had campers beading and making bracelets, creating cardboard swords, coloring and a fantastic ceramic session.

We have some great new projects lined up for the bunks this week, and will report back with photos and more news of what's happening!
