Things are really heating up in here in Cayuga. Everyone was feeling the 95 degree temperatures yesterday afternoon during the intense battle for first place in CHL. The Harrisburg Hoe Down Throw Down took an impressive 5-2 victory over the then first seeded Compton Moneyshakers. Hudson Reitkopp, a player close to my heart as Harrisburg's greatest rookie (and possibly the league's) had 4 goals.
Everyone was relieved to dip in the pool for swim lessons after the hyped up hockey melee and we finished our afternoon on a relaxing note. Following our dinner of a wonderful chicken stir fry we did an all camp spy program, where the Tuscarorans led the rest of the campers to uncover clues and save Aaron Cantor from his colorful kidnappers.
An overall great day from Cayuga, certainly a relaxing break after our euphoric victory in FIGHT SONG. More to come from Cayuga sports analyst/investigative journalist.
