Mohawk moments

Hey everyone,

Today we got to sleep in as usual on Shabbat. Instead of an 8 am breakfast, we were able to sleep in and go eat at 9. After that we were sent back to our villages to make sure we were prepared for the campers. We moved the Rochester campers trunks and duffle bags onto beds and swept the cabins. While we were doing that, a few of our staff went to the arts and crafts shed to work on the t-shirts for mohawk national league.

After a lunch of tuna and egg salad on croissants the entire staff went to the back of the dinning hall for a brief meeting on the schedule. We also had to say our goodbyes to our beloved August SITs. We then returned to the village and got bathing suits and and water shoes. All of the staff went to the waterfront where we went to periods just like campers. Mohawk staff spent the first half canoeing and the second half waterskiing. Many of our staff had not skied in very long, but the muscle memory came back quickly and most were in fact able to get up. After another brief time in the village we are now playing euchre at a cookout by the lake with grilled burritos and an ice cream social.

Make sure to keep refreshing that blog page and check back in with us soon :)
