Hello all,
The first day of August has come and gone… Even with the Senior Campers on their trip, Camp was jam-packed. Sunday was an exciting day as both returning and new faces showed up. Everybody went through orientations at the Waterfront, Pool, Infirmary, and had a safety talk with John. The evening program was a village night where some villages had try-outs for their leagues and some did bonding activities.
Following the evening program all of Camp gathered at the Fire Circle for the August 2011 Opening Ceremonies. Staff was introduced to campers in a fun and exciting way via skits and songs. Following the introductions all of Camp watched a trailer for the upcoming Color War V (click here to watch). The first day went very well and I am looking forward to the next three weeks with all of these campers!
