Color war broke Tuesday night, commencing an epic battle between blue and red. The rest of camp was stunned as they watched the fire circle turn into a winter wonderland with fake snow and an ice carving where a fire would usually be. The captains from each team entered via an ice luge, wrapped head to toe in glow lights of their color. The entire camp started chanting "1,2,3,4 we want a color war!" and Color War V- Fire and Ice was officially underway.
Day one was primarily made up of creative events, ending with a showdown at the o-rec. As in previous years, incredible talent among staff and campers was displayed for everyones enjoyment.
The day ended and both teams seemed to be pretty even in the competition. Events will continue on another day and only one team will be named victorious.
