Pictures with Neil...

It's finally here...the long anticipated Color War V!!!  The program broke Tuesday evening in the most theatrical way possible.  All of camp came to the fire circle for a 'surprise retirement party' for our director, John Golden.  Little did they know, Color War V was about to begin. The captains of each team swam ashore wielding white LED lights, the senior campers led a glowing processional to an ice luge, down which the Red and Blue generals, accompanied by John Golden slid.

Then a massive block of ice was revealed in the middle of the flaming circle. An ice carver then proceeded to sculpt the ice into the Color War V logo, while snow fell from above.

The campers went to sleep, only discovering what team they were on when they awoke to find either a red or blue backpack on their bunk.

In the morning, after a silent breakfast, camp competed in Arctic Warfare.

The rest of the day involved a series of creative competitions including duct tape crown making, rock sculpture, and Showdown at the O-Rec preperation.

The Showdown featured many acts, most of which had never graced the O-Rec stage before, including slam poetry, barbershop quintet, mime play, glowstick dance, and a shadow performance.

The past 24 hours were by far the most exciting CSL has ever experienced!!

Some CWV pictures are already on bunk1.com, and more will be posted soon!
Stay tuned...
