Dear Cayuga families,
Mazel tov to Gregg and Lisa on their wedding last night! All dressed in their shabbat best, Cayuga and onondaga campers joined together to celebrate the union of our two beloved unit heads. Four campers held the chupah as Joy Getnick led the ceremony while explaining jewish traditions to the kids. As the rings were exchanged, all of the campers filed into the O-rec for a celebration. Gregg and Lisa of course had the first dance, but soon after, every camper hit the dance floor for the hora. There was a mixture of line dances and Bar Mitzvah games such as the limbo and coke and pepsi. After dancing for an hour, the kids were ready to wind down at the fire circle for Havdalah. Cheers for an awesome final week to come.
