Dear Cayuga families,
“You’ll find out...” That’s how we as staff answer questions from our campers in regard to what the evening program is. Tonight was no different as the staff was sent to hide around camp with the goal of not being found by the campers.
However, the writers of the program decided, for the first time in camp history, to prank the counselors. As the counselors hid in solitude, the campers went from village to village, stealing one flip-flop from every counselor. After returning to the dining hall, the campers then picked up one water balloon each, anxiously awaiting the counselors arrival to the flag pole.
When all of the staff returned to the dining hall full of pride that they were not found, they were ambushed by 200 campers with hundreds of water balloons. It is creativity and spontaneity like this that keeps camp exciting and fresh for every generation.
For now,
