> An eventful day and night for senecans as well as their staff. Saturday was full of relaxation as the shabbat schedule allowed for a change in pace. Campers started with breakfast in their villages and headed down to services at the fire circle. The seneca "ruach" or spirit could be felt through every song and prayer. Later in the day shabbat choice, a time when campers choose an activity out of their normal relm of camp. Campers enjoyed fishing on the docks or free time at the pool all afternoon. The evening consisted of bunk nights, where each senecan bunk had individual activities. S-1 with a water war and S-2 with an ice cream scavenger hunt, youngest seneca enjoyed their first bunk night in seneca. Other bunks enjoyed english tea parties, scavenger hunts and even pranks on mohawk. The night commenced with havdalah services in the fire circles followed by youngest seneca and youngest mohawk bonding time. As the night went on mohawk "mass-monkeyed" the village cheering and waking senecans up. They are more then ready to retaliate! At about midnight the oldest senecans woke all the other bunks and led them to the O-rec where SSL or seneca soccer league began for the session. The girls were beyong excited for this tradition to take place!
