We went to the dining hall and had a buffet breakfast with eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, whipped cream, and chocolate chips! It was the best breakfast at camp by far.
Then we got on buses and went to the Waterloo Outlets. We were given a sheet listing random things we had to find on a scavenger hunt across the stores. My favorite memories were when we had a cashier do the chicken dance and taking a picture of strangers kissing.
Next we went to a park on Seneca Lake where we had lunch. It was crazy good; we had burgers, meat sauce, coleslaw, pickles, and fries. We had a ton of fun playing catch and just chilling out.
After this, we went to a mall where they had a room full of bouncy houses! I raced about 10 times through the obstacle courses on the bouncy houses and probably lost each time!
Last, we went to an Auburn Doubledays baseball game. They are a minor league team for the Washington Nationals. Mohawk was so consistently loud and enthusiastic the whole game that we got the attention of all the players! We probably accounted for 75% of the noise at the field.
The Doubledays crushed 11-4, and we were pumped. We went to the dugout after the game and got autographs from our favorite player, Dale. He signed almost everything we offered him, and it is probably safe to say that we were the best fans the Doubledays had seen all season.
It was an awesome day, and I really want to thank our unit head Max and all the counselors for making it such a great time!
