I'm Bayley Axelrod and I'm an Onondaga counselor. I have been a part of every single Color War. Last night we completed a signature event which involved throwing waterballoons at tiki torches. The flame on each torch was colored either red or blue, we had to try and knock out our own colored flames. My role in this Color War is to make sure that all the campers are included in each activity. Color War is of course very intense, but what distinguishes it from other programs is that we have to learn to compete against friends, and yet still stay unified as a camp after. What have I learned from Color War 8? Drink a lot of water.
