Hey! My name is Hattie Slater and I am an O-4 media activity counselor! Yesterday, Onondaga set out on 'O-day' - a day in which we take the children out of camp and do activities that Onondaga staff had previously planned. First we went bowling which was really fun and the campers were singing and dancing whilst bowling under the disco lights. After we had finished bowling, and many strikes had been bowled, we left and headed towards a park where we sat on the grass and ate our lunch. Once we finished our lunch, we hopped back onto the buses and went to our next location, the Sciencenter in Ithaca. The campers loved it as everything was interactive. Before heading back to camp we stopped at Purity for ice cream! Once we got back to camp we had them all change into bathing suits and headed towards the basketball courts where a slip and slide bounce house was waiting for them. They had so much fun whizzing down the slide, and they never wanted to stop! O-day concluded with watching Finding Nemo in the O-rec.

The campers and staff had the most amazing day!
