Nurses Perspective

Hello parents and campers. We are Amy and Liz, the camp nurses. This will be Amy's 7th summer at CSL and it is Liz's 1st. We have been very busy preparing for the arrival of the campers, and we are really excited to meet everyone. We are expecting everyone to arrive healthy, happy and ready for a safe summer! We are accessible through the office by phone for parents, and kids can stop by to say hi, and as needed.

A few last minute reminders: bring sunscreen and hats! Sneakers and socks are ideal because we are limiting the use of flip flops this year. We would like to reinforce that there are NO medications allowed in camper bunks. ALL medications including inhalers need to be turned in to the counselor or nurse upon arrival.

Featured Camp Health Concern: If you encounter poison ivy at camp, the first thing you do is wash the area off with soap and water. Next, let your counselor know and come visit us for treatment.

Can't wait for tomorrow! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns!
